Kahuna Massage

From the Polynesian Islands, Kahuna Massage (also called Lomi Lomi) is an amazing experience that works on both physical and energetic levels.

With long flowing strokes and constant contact, this treatment will amaze you from start to finish.

It has been called the ‘Rolls Royce’ of massage – and rightly so. It is wonderfully relaxing and energetically invigorating.

Not for the timid or shy… Kahuna Massage is performed naked (the client – not the therapist!)

Appropriate draping (towels) will keep all of the important bits covered, while allowing massage strokes to travel from one foot, to the shoulders, and finishing at the other foot. It has to be experienced to be fully understood.

No towels are placed on the massage table, as ‘underbody’ work is performed during the massage sequence. This is when the therapists hands slide under your body, with your natural body weight providing the pressure. Again, something experience relays better than words.

Choosing a Kahuna is not recommended if you have a specific ailment (remedial is better at addressing problems) but for those of you wanting something more than Swedish relaxation or to try something new…
